In CA they add Oxygen to the fuel........ almost like carbonated drinks..... but with oxygen if u look at it in Layman's terms...... Do u really think adding O2 to the fuel helps the FD? Nope..... it needs more fuel......not O2...
Seems like the only way to tune it is to run shitty 87 octane winter gas and then use 91 octane gas for daily driving........ this way it would be prepared for the worse.....
Well I do have the world's record for most miles on FD chassis and quite possibly the engines too........
I am using Blitz SBC. It holds the preset boost levels better and it reacts faster to any boost changes.I had the AVCR before, the turbos spool earlier and power is linear whereas the Blitz feels a bit brutal, but it does not hold as well or reacts as well to boost changes. This is my experience, other people may not feel the same about this.
i'm using the hallman es manual. i have it set at about 14 pounds with non-sequential. the pfc is like it came except i disabled the sequential mode and set all the boost settings to 1.1 bar to keep from fuel cutting. the knock level has not moved at all, not once.
