How do you just "get ahold of them"
And although nice, I don't think it will be easy to sell them considering their going rate is upwards of $2600+. At that price people would rather go single.

Also I figured it would help his sale. I'd still go single, much better investment.

Brand new Japan spec FD Type RS twins from Mazdaspeed Motorsports Development are ~$3000. I bought my new set from SR Motorsports in Nov '02 for $2650, when SRM was cleaning out their inventory. I would say $2500 to $2700 are good price points for brand new J-spec Type RS twins--worth every penny IMO

If you want just a straight pair of new turbos than yes, these are cheaper.

It depends, there are 2 different types of "99 Jspec" turbos. There are the plain ones that are just like ours and there are the upgraded ones that came on the 280hp cars which basically just spool a little faster.
The price would depend on what you have

Yea, youd hope so but thats not always the case. If you get them from somewhere like RX7.com then yea, they get you the right thing. I happen to know for a fact that some people getting "99 Jspec" twins are just getting the standard twins which have the same performance as the 93-95 twins. People need to specify that they want RS/RZ/Spirit R twins or make sure that they are getting those models. I'd imagine if its not mentioned upfront they are prob just the regular more common twins.
