Japanese Cop Car

Saw this when I went to the Tokyo motor show last year....

Looks pretty stock from the outside.....Im not sure if they actually use these here or not. Ive never seen one on the high ways. Maybe some of the other guys in Japan have seen one.

It's a 95-98 model so I can't imagine it would be still in active use. They have a variety of other high performance cars in that 'special division', including GTRs and, IIRC, GTOs (3000GT)

Its a series-7 (96-98) version more specifically a 98. You can pick the 98 versions from the series-7 body + 17" wheels.

The orange series-6 (92-95) in Fumanchu signature is an Aussie publicity stunt by the Victorian state Police back in 95 I think.

No one ever confirmed that car was real.

Unlike the Jap version. What a weapon for the cops over there hey!!!

Im from japan and I never seen those type of police car on duty. Especially when police rarely attemps catch those racer on "shutokou" . meaning to say, its pointless to have a police car like that in japan, unlike the mustang, camero police cars over in u.s.
