what is it..

what up guys...
i was chasing down a weird squeeking noise in my turbo area... and i noticed this valve was seperated and wount go back together...well ok its broken...i was wondering what its for..and if i can still drive the beast untill the part gets here...geting ready to call ray and order it......shes my dd..thanx in advance.

You can still drive it. You'll even still get primary boost. It's when you start heading toward transition that all of your boost will leak out...

The part that is broken is the check valve in the line between the y-pipe and the pressure tank.

That's a check valve. Specifically, it's the one that keeps the pressure chamber pressurized. Don't drive it hard until you replace it.

you will be able to drive it, but your sequential turbo system will not work properly. it is the check valve for the black pressure tank. the tank provides pressure to the solenoids whenever they need it.

You might want to PM DaleClark, he sells viton replacement check valves that look to be as good or better than OEM, and probably cheaper.

ok..thanx guys i appriciate it...right now its being held to gether w/electrical tape untill monday..im calling ray tomorrow..for the stock right now and then ill get a hold of dale.

one more quick q, the hose going from my air pump to the back of the uim is crack im goin to pep boys to get a replacement...but would that cause low idle..? it was fine before i tore her apart..
