Went for a drive, with pics

I went on a drive this morning with some local car guys up to the top of Mt. Lemmon. They just re-paved the entire road and it was ripe for some hard core canyon carving. There were a couple other FD's there but I didn't get any pics of them.

Just thought I'd share

Yea, it's awesome, the guy behind me wanted to know what coilovers I was running because the car looked planted with absolutley no body lean. He was shocked when I told him I was on stock struts with Eibach's!

Also the Evo guys were getting brake fade(yea, they have Brembo brakes stock) My stock brakes didn't even feel warmed up. Gotta love only having 2800lbs to slow down.

Brakes fading on the Evos? Really? A good buddy of mine has about 4000 miles on the clock and I went for a ride with him in the local mountains two or so weeks ago; I rode as passenger (yeah, my FD was out of commission). He ripped through the twisties at about 99%... I don't think he (or just about anyone) could have driven the car any faster through those mountains. We ripped for about 15 minutes at a time, and he didn't get any fading with his brakes.

But hell, your car looks awesome man BTW, how are you making that kind of power (looked at your sig). Are you on stock turbos?

Yes stock turbos. When I dynoed my car a few years ago my car was in sequetial mode. I would get really bad boost spikes in transition and that kept me from doing a high boost run. Steve Kan said that at 15-16 psi it should be around 340-350 rwhp.

I hope to go single in the next few months and end my TT headache.

Hey how's it going? Your car looks sharp. I love the fact that Tucson has 3 of the 330 something white 94 FD's.

It is about 52F here in town. Up at the top of Mt. Lemmon, where the pictures were taken it gets pretty cold. You can see the ski lift in the backround of one of the pictures.

In case anybody's interested here is an engine bay pic of poopra
