Well I finally got an FD :)

93 black/black base.. 73k miles.
dp, catback, power fc.

Really sorry about the crap pictures. I just took them 5 minutes ago in my garage (I just got home..) and I have a $30 digital camera. Tomarrow when I wash it and it's light out I'll take more.

Question.. whats the max safe inj duty %? I think I need a walbro.

id say about 80% would be max safe duty cycle for injectors, then again you need to get it tuned by someone which knows what they are doing with a true wide band

Too much. Well, I bought the PowerFC and Commander too. I'm trying not to think about it.

~85%, but also important to know, what's your A/F ratio?

What are your goals for the car? You really have no need for the PowerFC w/ those mods at the moment.

Anyway, congrats on the buy.

Well all I have to tell a/f ratio is the autometer gauge, and its like 3 bars into the rich area, but I know that that's not too accurate.

I know the PowerFC isn't really needed now, but eventually I would have to get one anyways.. and besides, it looks cool . Eventually (once I can breathe again.. I'm so broke its not even funny) I'm going to get a resonated midpipe, walbro, and bigger injectors. But I also think I should be saving for a new motor because 73k miles isn't exactly low.

Try to keep the gas tank cleaned out on this one, will ya?

Congrats. Keep her between the ditches, it's a bit different than a turbo II...it's becoming all to common on this forum to see the "hey, I got my FD" posts, and about 3-6 months following, the "well, another one bites the dust..." threads about totalling them.

Hey Kevin,

Yeah, that FC was fun times.. rusty gas tanks and broken door handles and blah blah blah.

Anyways.. I'll try to keep this one out of the ditch, I already know its way too much car for me, it scares the crap out of me.

Thanks though! I'll be sure to pm you whenever I need help so you can prove to me how much of a genious you are.

cloead, im just south of you in new philadelphia,oh. i also just moved from a turbo 2 to an fd, and i love it! mine has 89k miles, red, tan int *would rather have black everthing, like my t2, but hey, its my dream car* i gotta put it in storage for the winter with all the salt around here, not to mention snow. but yeah, i definately know the feeling of being totally broke, these are significantly more expensive than fc's, so i had to sell that. but thankfully, my younger brother bought it, so ill still get to see it around all the time

by the way, awesome looking car!

Well, heres a picture from today, right after my MAP vac line blew off and I got scared out of my mind.
