Weird starting problem.. might be covered but search is inconclusive.

So we pulled in the 7 for a quick brakejob but it turned into something completely different.

pulled it in when it was cold then it wouldnt start..

looks like we flooded it.. so we expelled some fuel..

then after that.. we tried it.. it burbled and started for a second then cut out.

we checked all the usual suspects.. fuel pump is kicking on.. fuses.. etc..

it cranks.. but doesnt fire.. the car sat for a while but has been running(not driving) but been running..

we figure it was a security problem.. but i figured it wasnt that cause it wouldnt even crank right?

my mechanic set the timing up a little advanced to trick it and it fired up for a second but dies still..

its not doing the hot start thing... so im not sure whats stopping it.

can anyone give some insite?

thanks!!!

What do you mean by "expelled some fuel"?

Did you go through the de-flooding procedure in the FAQ?

how do the spark plugs look?

Yes I did as the correct suggested in there.. and the sparkplugs are brand new(a week old installed) because they were fouled when we seafoamed the engine 2 weeks ago.
