Question weird noise TRAN/CLUTCH/PILOT BEARING???

Ive had a strange noise from my transmission from when i bought the car 2 years (basically in any gear when i accelerate from 2000-3500 rpm there is a sound that can only be described as a dry bearing sort of sound, sort of like if you scratch your finger nails over a wood table surface)....
Now this is the bit im wanting answering ,,, the gearbox/clutch bearing or whatever it is makes the same sound if im stood still with the clutch pressed to the floor and i push the gear lever left as though im going into first (but without actually selecting first,,, just going sideways)
I can understand this because with the clutch pressed surely nothing is turning inside the gearbox (im thinking maybe low or old gear oil,,, or maybe knackered pilot bearing)
any input guys ,,,thanks?

sounds kinda similar to what mine does..... i've had 2 diff clutches in since then and changed the pilot/throwout bearings each time, leads me to think its the input shaft bearing

Input shaft bearing usually starts out as a sort of whining/groaning noise that gets louder over time, and eventually adds a repetitive knocking sound. You hear the noise whenever the clutch is engaged, regardless of gear, or whenever the car is moving and in gear. Disengage the clutch when stopped, and the noise goes away. Disengage the clutch and take it out of gear when moving, and the noise goes away.

You sure the clutch is fully disengaging?

I get a vibration like you describe from around 2500-3500 as well, but it only started when I installed Delrin diff bushings. I never had that issue with the stock bushings.

Its not a vibration is like bearing sound (dry bearing sound~) i plan to replace the gear oil but i dont think that will fix it.

gear oil won't help.. i tried that....
if those gear bearings are not that expensive... replacing them should be a good choice.
but the car still going strong. but just that it's a little annoying on high torque low RPM driving.
