Need some help with relocated battery wiring
I relocated the battery to the passenger side bin and then ran the 2 gauge wiring directly to the starter. I did this so that I could have a shorter, more direct wiring path. It seems a few people have done this also but for some reason its not working for me.
I'm using a 150AMP Stinger circuit breaker like in Moconnor's thread about 18" of wiring from the battery. It is grounded to the B pillar where there is a factory ground There are no kinks or exposed wiring.
When I try and connect the terminals to the battery, it starts sparking like crazy. Doesn't matter which terminal I connect first. As soon as I connect the 2nd terminal, I get crazy sparks.
Circuit breaker hasn't blown.
Can anyone shed some light on what might be wrong? Much thanks.

Worked fine when I had run the power all the way to the stock location. Not working when run to the starter like it is in the pic.
Thanks for the input.

****. Now that I look at the pic of the starter in large format, I see that I think I might have connected to the wrong point on the starter.
There was such little room to maneuver under the car that I hadn't noticed the covered terminal until I looked at the pic.
Oops...
