Weird beeping on startup

Recently I've heard a weird beeping immediatley upon starting my car. Sometimes it happens later on when I just driving aroudn too. Then the other day my add coolant light came on for a couple seconds and then went off. I rechecked the coolant level and it fine.

Possible shorted wire? My tires rubbed through some of the isulation of two wires under the passenger side inner fender well. I'm going to tape these up today but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the beeping could be.

The pattern is 5 sets of 5 beeps in a row, so a total of 25 times.

also what is the process for purging the coolant system?

search for coolant bleeding, there are 1000000099999 threads on it and i'm not going to search for you.

If your coolant light is coming on, then it is the coolant level buzzer going off. Did you drain/fill your coolant recently? If so, then you most likely have some air pockets in your cooling system. Search for "burp" and "coolant" and you will find out how to burp your coolant system.

As for those two wires that you rubbed into, I highly reccomend you place some electrical tape on them so that you don't risk shorting anything out.

The no air bag warning beeps only come on when you first start the car. He mentioned it happening during driving around as well.

Yeah, it's quite an annoying sound. Might as well check that though. So it beeps when you first start the car and then when your coolant light comes on? When the coolant light comes on it should be a constant high pitched noise. Elaborate please.

just drive the car then let it sit and cool down check coolant, add coolant and repeat these steps until coolant stay's full, that all there is to it to burp the system.

it's not the coolant warning sound, that sound does not beep. It came on for a total of 5 seconds then went off. I checked the coolant again and it was fine, added a little bit to the resevoir but all it did was spill over.

I have the stock steering wheel and I've since fixed the wires that were rubbed through. I can't figure out was those wires were for, I tried following them but it's tough through the fender. I had no problems even when they were touching.

It sounds like a beeping set that is for either seat belts or airbags. not like an urgent systems check like the coolant buzzer. I can't figure out why it comes on sometimes and not others. and why it's only started recently. Maybe I shorted somethign when those wires wore through?

The only thing I changed was that I joined the connectors under the driver's seat that were disconnected previously, i believe they were for the seat belt light. But when I heard the beeping the first thing I did was disconnect the connector. The beeping still occurs.

just to make it clear, the coolant light only came on one time for 5 seconds, I'm thinking it's unrelated to my beeping problem

Oh ok, and the beeping is random... hrm how odd, maybe it's some sensor that's not making a proper connection. (Shot in the dark #1)

coolantr light came on again the other day. AST is topped off, under radiator cap ios topped off, and the overflow is full. Adding more coolant results in it just pouring out of the resevoir.

The light stays on for about 30 seconds then goes out. I don't need to do anything but wait for it to go out. I'm thinking some wiring is wrong here. All worn through wires have been fixed.
