Weight reduction?

There was a post recently on how to lighten your fd. Somebody replied with a link to a site with gobs of information on the weights of the stock parts. I must have woke up to early because I can't find it using the search function. If you know about this site can you post a link? I'm trying to get my fd to 2550lbs with two seats and a/c.

Thank you.

Lots of weight here:
Smaller battery, air bag, spare + jack, Bose system (if you have it), storage bins, power steering, A/C, precat.

You can't get the car too light without going full race by pulling the A/C, seats, insulation, etc.

Did you try Steve's site?

You know whats really heavy? the doors..take those off. The radiator too, it screws up your aerodynamics. And I guess the gas tank it pretty heavy too, but it also keeps the weight distributioni right, so you might want to leave that one. :P

No, battery, bins, spare, jack, replace exhaust, replace the seats with lighter weight racing seats.

But overall, mazda did a very good job of keeping the weight down by not having very much unecessary stuff.

The weight you look at is about 300lbs off the OEM weight. There is not way to do it with A/C and two seat.
