Weekend drivers

Just retired the FD from daily driving and was wondering:

How often should I start/drive it?

TIA

I'd start it up at least once a week and maybe take it around the block to let her warm up.

Thanks. I won't leave it sit that long... Just a couple days at a time.

But if I ever were to park it for a while... What would you recommend doing with the gas? Leaving it really low? Or cyphoning it out and refiilling it?

jdhuegel1,

Mine sits every winter (in this area, usually Dec -> March). I start it about once a month and let it run to operating temperature.

As for now having a daily driver, as long as you don't have the car sitting for a year, you shouldn't need to do anything out of the ordinary.

Once a week for 15 minutes until the car is competely wamed up long enough to evaporate any mositure in the exhaust system etc.

Highway driving is best.
