Question A way to reverse powder coating?

Is there a way to go back to the original wheel finish if it has been powder coated?

What color are they? You might be able to get someone to trade with you.

yes it can be stripped but it is probly expensive because the stripper is some very hairy **** and you have to have a liscence to by it.

Sand blaster then clear coat or repaint the color you want. Also they can powder coat over a powder coated part with stripping it

dont' think so, don't they have to sand it first, that would ruin the original finish

Ok ok ok, it's probably my fault for not saying this but they are not stock rims. These are aftermarket rims that used to be either chrome/pol. alum. I was thinking of going back to teh original finish, just wondering if it's possible. Also how much weight does powder coating add?

Powder coating doesn't add any noticable weight. It's paint. How much can a coat of paint weigh?
I would keep it that color. I hate chrome.

I like the original color of the stock FD rims on my black FD, so I was hoping I can get something like that, but I guess not. Thanks everyone for your help.
