Im not sure where it is comeing from.. But it dosnt smell like coolant or anything just plan old water... and there a good amount of it..! Any ideas?

 

is your car a touring...? did you drive w/ your sunroof up when it was raining?

 

yes its a touring and no not that i know off.. and how would that make the under part of the carpet wet? I mean the water didnt even come all the way threw.

 

Same thing happened to me. The ac consendation tube came unconnected. Check for a loose tube under the glove box.

 

Sounds like the drain for your A/C is clogged. All the condensation will run into your passenger side....

EDIT: Oops, that's what I get for leaving the comp for 20 minutes in the middle of replying....

 

Check the hose that comes out of the evaporator condensation collector. It might have been kicked off by a passenger.

 

well i checked all them seemd ok and would water get all the way back to behind the chair?

 

When it rains and my car sits, I sometimes get water behind the seats. I've heard of a couple different causes for this, one was a bad hatch seal and the other was a door seal...I think. Its not obvious to me where the water is coming from either, but I'd suspect one of those two things given that your evaporator drain hose is still attached properly.

Has it been raining where you are?
Do you sometime park with the nose downhill when it rains?
10-1 it's the rear hatch leaking, specifically the nylon bushing that each plastic corner caps screw into.
More specifically, the triangular pieces directly in front of the tailights, in each corner of the rear hatch drain rail. Remove the 2 (3?) screws (black large head phillips type) and you'll notice a white nylon bushing that one of the screws attaches to. It is supposed to have some sort of gasket under it but it degrades over time. Remove it, apply some silcone or RTV around the bottom and re-install and voila', no more leak.

last time it was raining my passenger noticed water leaking inside by her feet.... i did have the sunroof popped cause i dont have a/c.... any ideas?

 

Leave a drain plug unplugged. Although that is just a temporary solution.

 

If it rains and the sunroof is up water can run down behind the interior panels making it not easy to see... eventually it ends up on the floor board.
