water in engine bay
yesterday i got a buddy that works at a detail shop to wash my car and the engine bay as pressure washed. about an hour later i started it up and left the shop, there were a couple things that worried me, one is when i accellerate through first gear the rev increase as normal but the car doesnt want pull hard as normal. and two when i shift gears from first to second my hks ssq blow off valve sounded fluttery and weak. i have been told that here could be water under the distributer cap. also where is it located, i had a quik look last night but i couldnt see ****. any input would be much appreciated.

Wishin I Still Had The FD
Do you have an open element air filter? If that gets wet and essentially clogged, your car will run like dookie. As far as the BOV, it has water in it. Let it dry. If this problem persists for more than a day or two, check vacuum line like stated above.

Don't boost on a cold engine! Anyway it should be weak when not at operating temps the double throttle keeps the boost to 5psi until warmed up. Lots of info you need to read in the sticky FAQ threads.
