Question

Why did you bother to bump a 4-year-old thread with such useful information???

Mine does it.... Totally stock cooling system (for now).

I have noticed no use of coolant or lag in performance. I thought it was normal with the AST setup.

But I will admit, it had my attention the first time I noticed it. Can't wait to ditch that stock radiator... Need to get my Vmount from Jason

LOL... just noticed the thread date....

Cause I have the same thing on my car plus the possibly related stalling when cold and I thought someone might have some suggestion on where to look. It's better to search and find the relevant thread then starting a new thread about it and being told to search.

So do you know why my car is stalling during a particular part of the warm up process?

Certainly cannot tell from ALL of the details you gave describing the problem. What mods have been done to the car? Stock ECU? Is it your AWS, TPS, or IAC? If your car is warmed up, and then you have the problem, perhaps you just need to adjust your idle. Have you had any recent engine work done? As for the bubbling noise, do you have the stock AST, or have you replaced it? Have you 'burped' your system?

The FAQ is a great source of info if you read...

All stock. Don't know about AWS, TPS, IAC. It happens before the car fully warms up. Well the engine has been replaced with a reman or rebuild, previous owner was not clear about that. Stock AST. No I haven't burped my system and I don't know how to.

Thank you, I'll check FAQ see what I find on this. Cheers.
