wastegate porting

I have recently put a dp, mp, cb, and made my turbos non sequential. I am now experiencing boost creep. My power fc is in the mail on the way, but on my searches on this site I have found out that this will not fix my problem, I need to port the wastegate. My problem is that Im not sure exactly what is meant by this, or if it is something that I can do myself or not.

I think what this means is that the wastegate is getting more pressure than it can handle so the rest of the pressure is getting backed up and gives you the creap.
Dont quote me but i think that might be right. I do know that the mid pipe is casing this.
Porting will just help release pressure. Hope this helps.

i have pretty much the same mods and after a manual boost controller and the pfc, creep's not even an issue, if you're still havin probs after that, then i'd get the wastegate ported. havin the manual bc is gonna help quite a bit believe it or not

Which catback do you have?

How old are your turbos?

Just curious b/c the boost controller will not be the limiting factor in avoiding boost creep. The ability of the wastegate to divert exhaust gases around the turbine is the limiting factor in controlling creep.

if you can avoid creep with your set up, you are flowing less air/exhaust gases than most people on the forum, ie. due to a more restrictive catback/intake, or your turbos are getting less efficient/old.

First of all you have to take the turbos off and then get them apart and then widen this hole to the outside edge of the door. One good tip is to use some spray paint and close the door. Then spray over it to see where the door falls when closed so you don't get it too big.
*Warning: this picture is not where you have to be. you need to get the compressor side apart from this so little metal shavings don't get into your turbo

I have NO restrictions in my exhaust. I've got a 3" RMS dp/mp combo and Apex'i GT Spec cat-back. The turbos have about 4k miles on a fresh rebuild from Blue Ribbon, but that shouldn't make the wastegate function any different than any other stock turbo set up, they're the same size and all. Actuators would be the only factor i can see.

With running a full exhaust and NO upgraded ECU, I am surprised your motor has not gone yet...

If you have boost creep then a boost controller WILL NOT help the issue. The wastegate is the weak link here. Like stated before, too much pressure is buliding and it has nowhere to go. Port the WG and it will help relieve the pressure.
