Washer Tank Removal?
How do you remove the windshield washer tank? It looks like you either have to remove the headlight, or maybe get to it from the bottom. The manual doesn't really tell you how to get it out, just where it is, unless I'm missing something.

new to the car so please excuse if incorrect
but if it's the bottle on the left side of the car i think removing the left front wheel and then the plastic wheel arch will allow you to get to the base of the washer bottle and the motor
at least it looked that way last weekend when i had that arch off to get in there for another reason

Do what I did and make it an IC sprayer.
Just need about 4' feet of vacuum hose.
-unhook the stock windshield sprayer and attach the 4' vacuum hose and run it down to the IC. *if you can get a stock spray nossle it will work better. (I just have the hose aimed at the middle of the IC and go through about 1 quart a night of racing.) Also its good at keeping the intake charge cooler for hot city driving.

I removed mines last week, its been alomost a year that I got a lilte hole in it so I finaly fixed it .
Just turn you wheels right all the way and take it out from under the car, don't remember the size of the wrench, not hard at all.
It would be good if you jack it up a litle.
Hope this helps you.

Actually the reason I need to remove it is I am building a fogger/cooler for the radiator and IC for the track. It needs to be a high pressure sysem to produce the fog/mist, so I am using my old stock fuel pump wich must sit in the washer tank. The system has 3 fogger nozzles on the radiator and 1 on the IC and will be activated by either a switch in the cockpit or by thermost.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that you will want to un-hook the windshield wipers so no one nows your spraying at the line. (the clip is on the passenger side right on the firewall, blue and black.. just unhook it and you can spray your IC with out the blades moving.)
*note that the fluid bottle for the wipers holds 2.2 quarts... of Ice water that is

What do you put on the end of the hose to make it mist?

Apnea,
You can even use any nossle spayer off any car too get a dual spray.
I tried the 'Y' valve, not enough pressure to push it through both. Plus you wont want the wipers to come on. If you leave the stock setup alone but disconnected, and run the 4' hose to the outlet, you'll have just enough pressure to spray the IC.
*ps. I registered on Tulsa Turbo but it wont let me post. Just put a thread on the South Forum here and Im sure about 6 FDs and a few FCs can make it up.
