Yep, made it myself from paper clips and aluminium foil stretched over it, then spray puttied for a smooth finish before painting it. I thought I did a good job of it

the wing, while incredibly ugly (IMO), *is* functional (track tested by mazda) - and is part of the package of the rarest showroom FD ever made.

so...

Thanks mate

I think the wing looks very good (in my opinion), I have always been a fan of that style since it was debut on the Ferrari F40. Then again I am old so I have a different view of what is fashionable

Def works at 250kph going round corners ........

I hope you can keep it clean for a while. I washed and waxed mine and the next day on the way to work, the stupid Italian farmers had their sprinklers overshooting the field and onto the road. After driving through it it left water spots all over it. How the little things can make one angry

Yeah first thing I thought of was a Ferrari F40 wants its wing back! But honestly I think it looks great on your FD, great job on the whole package.

I don't think my wing was too much better looking when I bought my car. I have since removed it. I just need to get the brackets removed and the holes filled/painted.

With the exception of the wing. I think that car is absolutely perfect. Everything flows so well together (including the exhaust pipe). But dont worry about the wing, if you like it, you like it!!! Who cares what others think? Not only that, but you are a great asset to the forum, so your car could be hot pink with purple stickers on it and i wouldnt care

What do the centercaps on the rims say? As someone mentioned before, they look like the OEM BBS rims that were on a few RX-7's, except that they don't have the black BBS centercaps (obviously).
