Warranty ending in 1 week

The owner before me bought a used car extended warranty that covers the engine and tranny and most other misc things.

The warranty is void in 1 week. There are 0 problems with the car.. but I grind into second and I am starting to have problems shifting into first at lights and into reverse. It's not really a problem but I just have to give it a little more force. Do you guys think I should have it replaced/fixed? What should I do. TIA

In a nut shell...... **** YEAH!

In fact run your car with no coolant, blow the coolant seal, put coolant back in and have them replace the engine too.

Also sounds to me like a clutch issue. I doubt the warranty will cover a clutch since it's a wear item. The warranty company is about as inclined to replace your clutch as they are to put new tires on.

Might as well get your bushings replaced for free.

I didn't read the fine print on my extended warranty... I knew it didn't cover gaskets, but for some reason I thought if I blew a coolant seal they would cover it. Nope, not the case. They also said they won't cover apex seals either! They consider it a 'seal', and not an 'internally lubricated part'. I have to call them up and have a little talk, since their wording in the contract is obviously geared towards piston engines. If they don't cover coolant and apex seals, then the liklihood of them ever paying anything for engine work is nil.

boost 20 psi on your turbos and blow them out and get them replaced if your engine is fine.
