Wanting to build a patch harness

So I'm interested in building my own patch harness for the FD. Im leaning towards the new AEM Infinity and it will require me to do some pinning and wiring. Im curious to know if anyone would know how to get a female style socket for the ecu plugs off the main harness. If I had an old factory ecu laying around I would butcher it to see if I could make something of its plug. Any help out there would be great. Also if you guys know anything about replacement plug/clips for the harness that also would be good to know just in case I decide to use the universal harness they offer.

I know boomslang makes harness extension and harness adapters. This will probably save you the trouble mapping out each pin and etc.

Boomslang Fabrication | ECU Wire Harness Extensions

Boomslang Fabrication | AEM Infinity Wire Harnesses

Boomslang Fabrication LLC | AEM Infinity-6/8h

i would contact Banzi racing, they make an FD to FC adaptor, its the same plug.

or Mr Ludwig at LMS EFI, he also sells connectors and other harness-y stuff.

next option is an HKS F-con harness, they seem to run around $120, which sounds like a lot, but if you factor in any labor time at all, its cheap.

i built an FD ecu to FC adaptor, and i started with a $100 FD to FD adaptor and it still took ~20 hours to make it right.
