Wanted to share some final shots of my beloved FD and my new car

Please no negative comments, as I am only sharing my pictures with you guys. I've owned 3 RX-7s and this one is my fav. This won't be the last RX-7 in my lifetime, as I am planning on getting a Spirit R.

My new car is surely fast and has wonderful resale, but does not invoke the emotions of the 7.

BTW, the RX-7 made around 340 RWHP, and the Supra 650 RWHP.

Ya I noticed the BC plates as well. But why would he buy one from Canada when they are so cheap in the states? Very odd.

The reason its been for sale for awhile is because most of us guys from the states are not willing to pay duties, expensive shipping (over $2k), customs fees, EPA fees, Brokers Fees, State Sales Tax, Complicated Paperwork, etc. I personally flew up to British Columbia to inspect the car first hand. It is even cleaner than my very clean low mileage FD. The car has well over $50,000 in it. I felt the car was well worth the money so I bought it. If the car was in the states it would sell in a heartbeat.

Supras are not cheap, well high mileage Supras are cheap. Any low mileage Supra fetches well into the $40s. I know because I've owned a Supra and sold it for $38k with 30k miles. That was about two years ago. They are increasing in value, same with the FD. Low mileage FDs and Supras are very desireable as you cannot get them new anymore. LOL

None on the one in the states met my expectations. I've been looking for another Supra for two years. The ones in the states usually have very high miles.

Thanks for the compliments guys, the FD will be sorely missed. As I did not really enjoy enough time behind the wheels. 13 year old and only 25k miles!

So you sold the FD? I loved the color you had put on the dash and center console. I want to paint mine like that to match the exterior of my car.

Hehe, sorry for not being specific enough. Technospeeds. The car is a Options Car Magazine feature car, spreads of about 5 pages. Pretty cool.

Congrats on your sale! I saw that you got a pretty penny for your car according to the auction, and you deserve every cent.

Unfortunately, some people on this forum would call you immoral for asking $30k plus for an FD...

BTW: Supra looks great too!
