Wanted: Low End Power. What Exhaust?

I plan on eventually going 3" all the way back from the manifold, and I was wondering what combination would be best for adding low-end power. What would be a good choice for DP MP and CB to achieve this?

You'll get more low-end power with a Hi-Flo cat than a midpipe, however you'll sacrifice high-end power for that extra low-end.

As far as a catback, they will all pretty much give you the same result. Just depends on the look and sound you want.

Downpipes... Just do a search.. There are quite a few threads here about different dp's and installation differences.

to create low end power for the most part you want to create back pressure. if you go with a racing beat, me, PFS, or pettit exhausts they i would say are bit more restristive than the cannaster style exhaust like apex n1, hks hiper, tanabe racing medalon, etc..... however you will probably not even feel the difference.

Cool play with your boost?

...on sequetnial stock twins w/ a dp, mp, n1 duals (3" all the way through) using m/t drag radials @ 13'bs of boost, my best 60' is a 1.5.

I'd say that's pretty good low end power.

Cool

...with m/t drag radials getting 1.5 60' time @ 116 mph w/ 14.5 lbs of boost 11.8.

...with street drag radials getting 1.8 60' time @ 112 mph w/ 13 lbs of boost 12.2

...with street tires getting 2.0 60' time, no traction all the way through 3rd @ 110 mph w/ 13 lbs of boost 13.1
