VMIC Radiator Question

anyone know where to get a radiator that enter and exit on the same side?

just installed the hks vmount kit, but it position the radiator way too high.
in order to raise the rear of the radiator, I need to get rid of the radiator hose that run from the front of the car to the waterpump outlet.

something like this

does koyo make anything that can be modified to work?

I use the rotary works vmount radiator. It's great. My only complaint is the drain plug. It's got a notch in it so when you go to drain it, it spits in a circle as you spin it. It's messy. You'll probably need to grind the radiator shroud a little. The fans sit a little high and the inlet presses up against the shroud. I think I covered it all in my build thread.

Rotary Works, CX-racing all use the same most likely Chinese made v-mount radiator. My friend bought the Rotary Works v-mount kit...and I just bout the cheap e-bay radiator for $150-ish with free shipping...and our radiators look identical. Just search on ebay "fd rx7 v-mount radiator" and you will find them for sale.

I didn't really find any negative feedback on the radiator...and I know a few people on the forum here using them. I still haven't installed mine but I will pressure test it before I install it just to make sure.

Then modify a koyo or make one. If you make one from scratch then i imagine it will be of the highest quality imaginable. I'm not sure why you think the RW radiator isn't sufficient. It's exactly what you're looking for. Keep in mind price isn't always an indication of quality.
