To be a Great 7 owner, one must learn how rotary engine works, how turbo works, and how to search the forum.
This debate goes back to many many threads about making newbs read thru for couple of weeks before they could start posting. This way, they have to learn how to search before they themselves could post a thread. Most people first get on the forum to ask questions about some problems with their car and usually leaves the forum after their questions been answered.
Problem with this forum is that there are way TOO many threads that are completely waste of bandwidth because same questions were asked over and over.. Problem, People don't search.

DamonB, I dont think he was saying he had a better method. I think he was just saying that he didnt like the method he found searching so he was looking to see if anyone else had better luck with a different method that was NOT posted.
Everyone please chill. He got it open. If the guy can't find what he is looking for in a search just anwser his question. If you think he is an idiot for asking then don't anwser it. Just help a guy out if he needs help. One day we will all need some assistance in doing something that we probally can not find the anwser for by searching.

Personally I wouldn't bother trying to invent anything. If you're afraid your cable may break because it's original then just replace it. They cost about $30 IIRC and take less than 30 minutes to replace.
