Vapor lock/flooding/running rich
Ok, I have a couple of questions. The seven has been starting up kinda rough lately, sounds like it's got vapor lock and it's been idling kinda low, any recommendations on how to fix this problem in the seven? I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, i looked and didn't really see anything helpful.
Also it sounds like the engine is flooding sometimes, does anyone here know how to adjust the fuel timing so it doesn't do this, or should I leave it to a professional mechanic?
And finally i'm pretty sure that by adjusting the fuel timing so it doesn't flood would also enable me to get better gas mileage as she's sucking it like a fish in water. She's running really rich and there is a somewhat bad smell of gas coming from the exhaust.
It's a 93 touring with 84k on the original motor if that helps any and it's totally stock except for the exhaust. I also allow a decent warm up/cool down time before and after driving even though i'm not really driving it that hard.
