Vacuum leak or something worse?!

Can someone help me out my car isn't holding a rpm except at idle and when I hit 5-5100k I lose all power and it bogs down to around 35-4000rpm until I let off the gas I'll try and post a video when I get home

Complete modification list and what you did to the car last when this happened would help. I'd also fix that oil pressure gauge asap.

Your turbos aren't even building boost from the first video, the boost gauge sits in vacuum the whole time, that shouldn't happen, they should start to go into positive when you rev, so there is a big problem there.

What was your issue and how did you fix it? I'm having very similar problems

To fix the jumpy idle I swapped the TPS and re adjusted it. Now I'm still having the car jerks at 2600rpm and cuts out at 5100rpm with no 2nd turbo transition

Wow I'm having the exact same problem and I can only reach ~6 psi of boost on the first turbo. Maybe you have leaks?

I'm getting around 8-10 psi on my first turbo, I've checked and so far the thing I did see was the charge control valve was not shutting when it should so I swapped that out for a known working one and still have the problem so I'm thinking I have a leak somewhere in the vacuum chamber or the solenoid

Spray starter fluid around the engine bay and se if the idle changes. If so, you have a vacuum leak

Be careful spraying starter fluid around any hot components.

Is there a proper way to do this? I was thinking about it but i'm hesitant cause lots of people say it could end in a blaze =\

Brake cleaner or smoke. Smoke won't affect idle, but you should see where it gets sucked in

Carb cleaner works too. Just don't spray it directly on the exhaust and take necessary precautions. Smoke is a PITA IMO.

Just thought of something. If you're gonna go through the trouble of making a smoke device, you might as well make a boost leak checker. That'll work.

UPDATE!! I broke down and took it to a Mazda dealer here in japan it was there for 2 days, I went today to check on it and the guy said its my gauges. The wires from the odometer to the ECU aren't working correct and when the odometer isn't reading the ECU isn't picking it up it puts it into SAFE MODE and won't let you go above 5000RPM. So now off to find a new Spedo set. Good news is they only charged me 1,000Yen (roughly $8.75) for two days of trouble shooting!!! WIN!

Wow, talk about great service by the Mazda dealer. We all wish that Mazda dealers outside of Japan knew how to deal with rotaries...
