Vaccum leak or something else....?

Hey guys,
I have a few problems that I am needing help on.

First off what is a normal vaccum reading for a FD still running stock twins?

I think it may jsut be a vaccum leak somewhere but I am having rough idles and so on.

I have only had my FD for about 3 months now. It was pretty much stock besides a few key upgrades. One day the car started actting really funny. Jumping up and down between 1000-2000 rpm right after start up and then eventually settleing down after a minute or so. I personally think it's a vaccum leak but I can;t find one. I have also noticed at points I will point the pedal to the metal on the highway and if I am in a high gear without a lot of torque my boost hits 5-6psi and stops. I can let off the gas and downshift or even pick up my revs and try it again and I get full boost. When I do get this 5-6psi hold when I let off the gas and activate the BOV it sounds like a weird pitched tone coming from the turbo I think. It almost sounds like compressor surge but not.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out? Thanks guys
