Vaccum hose question

Where does this hose go to (the circled one).

Does the A at the end of it mean it goes to the (A) solenoid valve for the pressure regulator control in the diagram? Confused

What you have circled is the oil filler neck. That's the line for the PCV valve which connects to the UIM in the front with the other 3 vacuum lines.

I see that I made the circle too big and circled the oil filler neck as well. The thing that I was questioning is the vaccum hose that runs beside the oil filler neck.

The reason I ask is that Mazda has installed a new engine in my car and while they were at it I also had them replace my vaccum hoses with silicone ones. On my engine there is one long vaccum line that comes out from under the UIM and they have run it along my fire wall to the drivers side. On the very end of the hose is what looks like the PCV but I am not sure, and it is not attached to anything on its other side. I think that this hose is coming out of the same spot in the UIM as the one in the picture, but I can't completely see with out removing the UIM.

This is why I want to know where the other end of the PCV hose by the oil filler neck in the diagram connects to, or does it just not connect to anything.

Sorry for the size of the image. I didn't think to look at the size of it before I posted it. Here is a smaller one. Could a moderator please delete the first image.

Thanks

It connects from the filler neck to the front side of the UIM):

Thanks Mahjik for clearing this up for me, and the great pictures.

Maybe this isn't the hose that I am confused about on my car. As soon as I get my car back on Monday I will take a picture of the valve on the end of the hose to find out exactly what it is and where it goes.

Mazda told me that it is right the way it is. I don't recall seeing it there before and in the vaccum hose diagram there doesn't appear to be any hoses that do not connect to something on both ends. Besides a long hose with a valve on the end of it which looks like it should be connected to something else on the other end, just does not seem right to me.

Are you talking about the MAP hose? There is a filter in that line that looks like a valve. It should connect to the little black box on the driver's side of the back firewall.
