V-Mount Question

On a V-Mount for the fd is the radiator the only thing pushing the air up through the IC or is there usually some duct work involved? I have searched for pics but none i have found have really showed me if there is duct work.

Yes Sir...only the radiator is leading the air up to the IC....but then i wouldn't really say "pushing"...cus the air is going through both of them at the same time. so....but then somewhat it is....
Although SIGNAL AUTO did make a duct for it's CV35 drift car.

So doesnt most of the air go throught the rad first. Doesnt that leave little air for the IC?

no sir...cus when driving at the same time the lower air is hitting the rad, while the upper level of air is hitting the IC.

So in a v-mount the IC is supposed to be slightly slanted downwards or is it supposed to lie flat?

it doesn't matter...but then if you make it too slant down towards the back, that means either you have to make the V-opening bigger or you gotta make the Rad slant more, and reaching further out. hope you know what i'm saying cus the Rad is bigger than the IC....just picture it in your head...the more slanted the IC is towards the end...the more reached out the Rad will be...and the less slanted the IC is, the less the Rad will be reachin out.

the degrees it makes just depends on the size of your IC and Rad. or how the person wants it.

Is there a picture of the v-mount. I was wondering if it would be smart to build a shroud around a the rad to deflect more air up?

doesn't matter really cus no matter what you're still getting the same amount of air for both IC and Rad in a v-mount.
