I should add that bending the small AC lines going to and from the dryer is not that hard but I had no success bending the larger lines.

Custom lines are a better option there IMHO. Ordering custom AC lines is surprisingly inexpensive.

Fair enough in the US where there are lots of supply for goods and services like this, but it's a lot harder to access in a small market like Hong Kong!

How has it all held up over the past 8 years?

If you want to install the kit yourself, I would recommend getting the Greddy kit, hands down the most complete and affordable kit.

I installed my KS vmount in 2007. The kit is good overal, there are some custom work like mentioned above. But it was easy to do and i'm just a rotorhead, not a mechanic. Haven't looked back since, and the kit still runs great and looks the same today. (except from some bent fins).

HKS kits are great for race cars with big single turbo. The kit only comes with intercooler, uses stock radiator (or aftermarkets-alike), and doesn't retain AC. The fans hang really low so it's not ideal for lowered street cars.

Honestly, if i were you, I would either get the Greddy kit, or contact your local Knightsports distrubutor like VAR in Hong kong and have them install the KS kit for you.

The HKS kit does retain a/c. It includes brackets for the condenser, drier, and custom a/c lines to match everything up with the oem lines.

Take a look at Coldhose.com (https://coldhose.com/). They ship internationally.

According to my notes I have done about 600 miles since installing this in September, 2011 so I can't really say! Sad!
