V mount installation

It is the best of both worlds. I/c is in more direct air flow than other vmounts. And the radiator is a little more horizontal, but is still in direct air flow.
It's better than behind a big front mount. So 70 degree less water temps seem reasonable.
I want to see a pic with the front end on.

The fans may just come on earlier with the radiator mounted horizontally. It's still drawing cool air.
It seems the shield is more important for keeping the radiator from drawing air backward through the IC than actually directing airflow. But I'm sure it does both.
I still want to know how coolant is drained (something I seem to do quite often).

Did HKS supply you with harness extensions to plug the radiator fans into?
And for more airflow to be directed into the radiator you could set the "diffuser plate" at the highest setting. I would definitely try to maximize airflow to the radiator to see just how efficient the radiator is at that angle, and then start adjusting downward if it (temps) allows you to.

I dont suppose you have a v mount kit from HKS that has a harness extension?
I have had 2 intercooler kits..Blitz FMIC and HKS Vmount, both required the harness to be extended.
