using premix and synthetic
Hello all, I'm new to the forums and don't have an FD yet. While doing some research I discovered that the car mixes oil with the fuel mixture and because of this synthetic oil is not recommended.
Would it be possible to premix your fuel and disable the oil metering system and then run synthetic?

You can run synthetic without a problem, any good low ash or ashless synthetic 10w40 will be fine. In stock trim, you really dont NEED to run heavier oil than 10w40. Also, if you are running catylitic converters, keep the premix to 4 or 5 oz. per tank or else you could gum up your cats. If you do upgrade to make more power in the future 20w50 would be a good idea. Like a lot of people on here, you could disable/remove the stock oil metering pump and premix 1 oz. per gallon of a good 2 stroke oil to a tank of fuel. My formula is Amsoil 20w50 synthetic and I premix 1 oz. / gallon of Amsoil HP Injector 2 stroke. Sorry for the rambling, just my $0.02
