I've read a few posts making references to the good/bad of using injector cleaners. A search just found more of the same varied comments, but never found a survey on our common practices, so here goes.

I've used the gauranteed to pass smog stuff, which is basically a fuel systems cleaner.
I read that the best for rotaries was acually Mazda's stuff. It might have been Robinetti's site, don't have the link right now. Although it says it's a kit, so it may not just be a bottle you pour in your gas tank.

I agree. It's better than the Techron I used to use.
I've also heard Redline S-1 is good too, although I've never used it.
Believe it or not, I get my BG44K from a Honda dealer.
I think I found it by going to their website and calling their 800 number. Sorry, I don't have the website address off hand. A quich search will probably turn it up.
I found most of the liquid cleaner you buy from general automotive stores to be crap. I would use Redline cleaner for the general system and send the injectors away to RC engineering. RC cleans them with a diode laser and the proccess takes about 3 to 4 days to get them back from when they were shipped

You will be surprised how much regained power and drivability is achieved with sparkly new injectors
I've been using NEO's Gasoline Fuel Additive product www.neosyntheticoil.com/gasaddtv.htm in my 3rd gen as well as piston engine vehicles with good success. Anyone else?
Just got done running Redline S-2 (pretty sure this is S-1 in a 4 oz bottle) through my system. HUGE difference. Engine is a great deal more responsive, and I can feel the secondary injectors turning on at 3K rpm or so now. I have noticed a few mystery check engine lights come on at freeway speeds. The code is not being stored in the ECU (i.e. won't pull a code with the TEN terminal grounded, ignition turned to run, wait three (or thirty!) seconds). I've looked through the possible causes for this and none of them make sense to be associated with the cleaner, but who really knows? Anyway, the light goes off after a few minutes of driving (YES, I'm an idiot!)...
I will say the temps were a little higher while running the cleaner, but with a fresh tank of gas, all seems to be normal again. Really runs nicer...
