I like using an analog boost gauge in a column mount pod, its easy to see that and the tach at the same time at a glance and a defi D looks close enough to be factory. I also use an analog water temp and digital wideband in a dual speaker pod. To me that combo isnt too over the top, I dont like the setups with 3 or 4 gauges on the dash and more on the A pillar. I generally have my commander monitoring air temp and boost for peak recall.

My thing is I don't like the steering column mount, and I like even less having a triple gauge pillar mount. I think if I could find a tripower style 52mm triple gauge pod I would use that. But it's next to impossible to find one. Since the dual gauge pod is readily available I was going to use that for my Boost and AFR, so that leaves out the water temp to the PFC commander

I just did a search, I didn't realize that flyrx7 made 52mm pods, I thought he only made 60mm pods. And I also found that prosport makes one. I guess I'll try and check out that option then

arghx,
did you notice any dust behind the new EL commander's screen? Mine arrived with a few specks behind the screen which I didn't expect on a new product. It's a bit older than the batch Fighters brought in (version 0.9.59 vs 0.9.61). So far that's the only thing that has annoyed me about the screen.

^ I do not have the new screen yet. That video was done by DaleClark I think. Perhaps I should have made that more clear.

I finally decided to end up going with a 3-gauge pod with the boost gauge and the AFR gauge. Now the only thing I want to decide, is whether to use a fuel pressure gauge, or a water temp gauge as my 3rd. If I use a fuel pressure gauge, then I'd be reading my PFC commander for water temp. If I use a water temp gauge then I'd just have that since the fuel press. gauge would be in the engine bay. So what do you guys think would be the best way to go with that?

IMO if you have a street car with stock fuel lines, you don't necessarily need fuel pressure. It's nice to have, and may help you troubleshoot things on a rare occasion.

If you have a PFC commander, then I don't see the need for a separate water temp gauge. I track my car and have lots of diagnostics (including oil temp) but I've never seen the need for another water temp reading.

Awesome thanks, I guess the fuel pressure gauge it is then. I'll just get a new water temp sender to make sure it's reading accurately and get my readings off the PFC commander.

I do have the stock fuel lines, but there's a good chance I'm going to be upgrading something in the near future because of my mods. And I've had a couple of fuel problems in the past, albeit just small things, but the gauge would've helped.
