Talking URAS Carbon Look Combo Lights

So, I got a box from RHDJapan, and wanted to share with you guys. I was in the market for 99 spec combo lights, and I didn't want to pay for the expensive OEM Stanley units, and this is what RHDJapan had to offer. There were three options from URAS: Black, Carbon Look, and Chrome. I ordered the black housings, but they were discontinued, so i opted for the carbon looks. I currently have cheap eBay chrome units, and in my opinion, the URAS units look a lot better. The lights have these mini chrome rings around them in the middle, and a black outline around the lenses unlike my eBay units. Check them out! $252.00 shipped to the door BTW.

ugh i can't stand anything that is "carbon look" or "carbon style" - it's so cheezy/ricey.

why not just go with the black ones if you don't like the oem or chrome ones?

you can usually find the black ones on ebay if that's what you were looking for.

Theorie the black housing versions were discontinued. I was thinking the carbon look was probably gonna look cheesy, but they actually look good. I have the plain carbon bumper protectors on my FEED bumper so it should match really well. Also, the regular black units don't have the chrome ring and the black outline like these URAS units have.

Duval7 Ill see if I can install them on Sunday. I'll be installing APEX-i S1 Dampers that day so I might as well do that too.

Rlee429 you're thoughts are mine exactly but the FEED units are more than what I can afford at the moment.

So, I've been waiting for some LEDs to come in before I installed the combo lights, and today they've arrived. What's cool about the FEED bumper is I don't need to take the bumper off to remove the combo lights!

I purchased the LEDs from v-leds.com for $9.99 a pair. I wanted a HID style look, but not a bluish look like my old LEDs. Lucky for me V-LED had 5000K bulbs. Should match very well with the Sake Bomb Garage HID kit. Link to the LEDs here:

I have the FEED combo lights, if I could go back...I would choose 99 lights with FEED lens covers. They really are not that great, I prefer the 99s.

I actually like these. With the chrome bezels they really look nice with the dark background. usually not a fan of imitation carbon, but hey sometimes it does add a little somethin.

Looking good Jeff, much better than the chrome ones. And you desperately need new wheels, I think Work wheels would look the best

When we hooking up again?

I was specific enough. I was referring to the bumper and the hood of his car.

Hood and front bumper are both FEED (as well as that head light cover).

Talking

Ludvig83 they're Shineauto replicas. I don't make enough to use on authentic FEED bodyparts except the headlight cover LOL that's authentic FEED.

Dan I really did like your equips, but deep inside I wanted 18's LOL. I put in the order for RPF1s in 18x9.5+45 & 18x10+38 on Sunday with Rishie. Now I've got to buy tires. We can eat at smoke eaters or something sometime soon Dan. Wanna do the 911 challenge? I'll pay for you!

Bewtew I got them from v-leds.com and the link for the actual part is above. It's a 5 led 5000k (because 6000k is more blue) bulb.

I've been waiting for a good challenge and Smoke Eaters would be an awesome place to start!

Those LED bulbs that you got for the fronts look much brighter than mine.. hhmm....
