Coolant buzzer problems
before I get flamed I have searched and searched the forums and got good info ut cant fix my problem yet , I understand you must ground a wire problem is whoever had the cr before me rat F&*KED the wiring harnesses and im trying to figure out just how to get the buzzer to stop because located these certain colored wires is not an option for me. and yes there is coolant and it randomly just came on while the car was off and accessory was on The wire wrapped around the black lead going into the connector is grounded ive tried numerous wires around the harness fitting the other threads descriptions please help!!!!

the coolant level sender wire connector connects to a black wire with red stripes in the engine harness and only passes through the engine harness to connect to the body harness on the drivers side. it's only a single wire, no ground. I'm assuming your buzzer is running because there is a break in the line somewhere. If there is coolant in the system, the sensor sends voltage to the gauge, the buzzer will sound when it's not getting anything from the sender.
I would honestly attempt to trace the line from the gauge to the body harness to find the connector you need to get the sender to.
I don't have my car right now otherwise I would take a picture to help you out. but where it connects to the body harness, it's still only a single wire connector.
it is also possible that the sender unit has failed. unlikely, but possible.

As was stated above from your sensor is a single wire.
Forget about your multiple connector wire, create a new single conductor wire, connect it with a male spade into your white connector as has been done previously and ground the wire.
If it stops buzzin your 'custom' wire is at fault. If not replace your sensor and go from there.
Have you examined the wire comming out of the sensor to make sure it is not broken, this is a common problem.

ok....like two of us have stated before, there is NO GROUND for the coolant level sensor. You can't just ground it and expect it to shut off.
and like I said before, unless you apply voltage to the wire that goes to the buzzer, like simulating the sender was sending voltage, the buzzer is not going to turn off. that's how the system works. hence why it's only a single wire. the ground for the circuit itself is in the dash.
so, like my previous suggestion said, you need to find the SINGLE wire that the sender is supposed to connect to (also why the sender is a single wire) on the DS body harness.
if you can't find it on the body harness, take your time, do it right and trace the wire from the gauge, through the body harness. you may have to unwrap the body harness.
yea it sucks, but do it right and you won't have any problems again.
btw, that conglomeration of 3 wires that you attempted to ground, you need to trace those and figure out where they go.
get ahold of some of the wiring diagrams if you don't already have them.

90% of the time when I see this, it is because the connector in vicinity of the spark plugs has come undone. Have you recently changed the plugs or messed with that side of the engine bay? Either way. Check that side as there is another connector there. Hope you get it figured out.

Just make sure that its connected correctly , On the plugs side of the motor there is another connector that connects the initial wire from the engine harness , to the front harness . if that wire is disconnected it will buzz always ,
if you are having intermitent issues , than your sensor may be going . or that wire is somehow making ground
