Upgraded Apexi intake with mooing sound?

I replaced my factory airbox with the Apexi dual filter. My engineis completely stock. After the install I noticed a few things. 1. I can hear the factory bov "pshhh" sound which is really cool. 2. when reving or driving the car, it starts off by making a "mooo" sound like a cow. it does it usually when I accelerate up to 2000rpm and once I get pass it then its normal. Any ideas? My filters are the same as the ones on the link below except I am still running the stock plastic pipes.

Hmm so you would just eliminate the compressor hose and let it shoot int the atmosphere? What is the point of the Compressor?

Check my picture in that thread. That is the airpump relief hose. It works like the BOV does for the turbos, but for the airpump.

I bought the same intake Apexi Intake system as well and I am getting that really annoying mooing sounds. I searched the forum and to my understanding is that removal of the airpump will eliminate the noise. I did eliminte the pre cat with a down pipe. Is there any other route a guy can take? I was told that there might some type a silencer that can be purchased?

Go non-sequential and replace your air pump with the dummy pulley. NO more problems, no more moos either, ever again, kill the cow . . .
