Question upgrade o-ring for rear stationary gear cover ?

Is there any reason to use a Teflon encapsulated silicone O-ring for the rear stationary gear O-ring ?

How about a VITON one ? or just use the stock one ?

If so, anyone know the size and/or part number from McMaster ?

Thanks,
:-) neil

I don't know of an upgraded one, personally. I'd just use the stocker myself.
