So, the root of the problem seems to be an uneven garage floor (excusable after nearly a century of service). I must have been in uneven parking spots when I measured it at work too.

The alignment shop measured my front within 1/4" from eachother. Still, glad I replaced those front mounts. That 3/4" extra rubber up top really helps with ride harshness on the street and may have helped balance the front height.

On a side note... Should an alignment really cost $170 because it's "custom"? The only deviation from the stock specs was 1.5" degrees camber all around, which the rear was already pretty close to. I'm sure they did a good job, but they made it sound like it was really involved.

$170 is on the high side, but a complete alignment is not very simple on our cars. The amount of adjustments available really plays a factor in how long it actually takes.
Something front wheel drive with macpherson struts and a beam rear axle can be banged out in 30 minutes.

All those eccentric bolts on the control arms, and tie/toe rods at all 4 wheels increases the difficulty factor.

For $170 that works out to about 2 hours labor for the average shop.
