undoing damage from shop - hose routing

Not going to mention the shop by name, I'll just say its not in an area near me.

Anyway, I'm in the process of correcting lines they just left open, disconnected, etc.

Could someone be kind enough to chime in on where this hose routes to? I'm guessing the air box on the opposite side of where the factory BOV and CRV go, but I thought I'd ask to be sure.

Edit; Also, on the right side of the airbox there is a port for a hose, does anyone happen to know where that routes? I've looked at the vacuum hose diagram, but it obviously focuses more on vacuum hoses, not just the airbox components.

Already looked. It doesn't specify where the larger hoses like that go.

I believe that connects to the air pump. I away from the FD right now so I can’t visually confirm but I’m pretty certain. On the right side of the air box the hose just drops along side the inter cooler and is open ended.

Hope this help!

Bottom pipe connects to the air pump, the top one connects to the air box.

Since they deleted my air pump without asking, that top one as you can tell is capped off. The bottom one is pushing air out at idle making a really annoying noise. Since the air pump isn't there for me to route the hose to at the moment, I ran a hose from the bottom one shown by the arrow to the airbox to quiet it up, did wonders for the annoying noise, but its not right obviously, I need to just reinstall the airpump.

Unless you need it for emissions or plan on keepingthe car stock forever, deleting the air pump is an inevitable mod for everyone. If you delete the acv then both of those pipes will go away along with the noise.

You could try this and see if it'll help with the noise, worked for me before I finally just deleted everything.

Yep, air pump pipes.

If you have a stock ECU you need the air pump. The car will idle like crap and be jerky on/off throttle with no air pump. With a PowerFC or aftermarket ECU you can get rid of the air pump.

You will get weird noises from that with the air pump removed. You have to pull the whole thing and block it off to do it right, you can buy block off plates.

Name the shop so others know not to go there. That’s the only way stuff like this will stop happening.

I'll do it in another thread.

But in response to everyone, I appreciate the links, I'll look into that this weekend for sure! Thank you everyone!
