Question Undertray Removal

Not that I don't want to seem like a fool but how on God's green earth do you remove the 2 plastic screws on the undertray? Feels like I've been for like 45 mins over this one. Thanks in advance.

And yes, I'm having a "Special" moment

Rip the bastards out with a pliers. It will probably destroy them but most auto stores have generic clips to replace them.

see if you can wedge something like a flat head screw driver in between the head and the undertray. I use this technique to get bolts out when the anchor nut is spinning. I don't know what those ones thread into off the top of my head, though.

Put your fingernail between the outer insert and the inner screw and apply a little pressure so the threads catch while you unscrew it. Install the insert only and then press the screw back in to reverse this.

Are there any other methods for taking off the rusted and spining anchor nut bolts? I've wasted about 3 hours trying to get 4 or 5 nuts off my undertray

I never worry about destroying those pesky plastic fasteners on the undetray and fender liners. Just go to Lowe's or Home Depot, they have a whole drawer full of those bastards in the hardware aisle.
