Undertray Q - for those with a Vmount

What are you guys using? My PS loop/cooler is getting in the way of installing the stock one back on. Should I just hack up the stock one?

its not required, but u can hack it up. the radiator is tilted backwards, not forwards like stock.

did your kit not have the side pieces to cover air escaping from the V?

AgentSpeed's ps cooler install is a great addition to the vmount setup.

If you want to keep the stock lines, you can bend the ps lines so that they are flush up against the backside of the fans and wont be in the way of the undertray. It takes a ton of effort and is possible. I think Chuck's instructions say to bend them somewhere else though.

Not the best pic in the world, but it does show it fits snugly under there.

its part of the ductwork for my Vmount, I know it isn’t the most beautiful piece in the world, but I had to get it done and working, and presently am working on a mold to make a carbon fiber replacement for the 99 spec bumper.

plus you can barley see it externally if you are not looking for it so it is not that big of an issue. More functional than aesthetic anyways. you can barly see the little triangles that fill in the front of the IC.

the PS line will have air no warmer than the air coming off the radiator and in high volume, which is in operating temp.

it also sits low enough that clean fresh air hits it as well, heat has not been an issue with it so far.
