UIM removal - Lift loop bolts
Hey i'm trouble shooting a boost problem that i've been having and I have everything taken off to begin working with the "rats nest" except for the engine lift loop that connects to the back side of the UIM with two bolts. Each bolt has a ground bolted under it that needs to be removed. These bolts are torqued down extremely tight and i just cant seem to get them off. I can get a ratchet on them but they just wont budge. If anyone has had problems with these bolts before and might have any tips as to how to get them off I would appreciate it.
Also, is it ok to use something like PB blaster or WD 40 on them? since they have a ground under them.

I'm sure you're probably turning the wrench the right way (righty-tighty, lefty-loosey), but just to make sure, those 2 bolts that hold the loop are facing opposite your perspective since they bolt into the back of the UIM, so in other words, you would have to turn your wrench/ratchet clockwise instead of counter clockwise to loosen them. Also, one of those ground straps has a clip on the firewall side that you can just disconnect which is way easier than unbolting it from the UIM side. If you need massive amounts of leverage and do not have a really long breaker bar, then use a pipe like the upper half of hydraulic floor jack handle, but be careful when you do this, if the bolt is seized, it will break.
