uim/lim off what now? block off plate/resistor ?s

I'm in the process of putting in a reman and am trying to simplify the setup. I have a full block off plate set. I plan to run the stock ecu/sequential for the time being. I plan to remove the egr, omp, aws, double throttle, avc. I'm not 100% clear on how to remove this stuff and use resistors (330ohm 1/2watt)

What is done to the male/female plug? resistor goes into the female, and where the vacuum lines went just cap?

How do i secure the resistor in the plug?

As long as i block off and use resistors this will trick the stock ecu correct?

Have you guys used gasket stuff with the block offs or just retain the stock gasket?

Thanks for any info you can provide!

tap the resistors across the plug, cap the lines that were used for the double throttle ect.

How do i secure the resistor in the plug?

Electrical tape

no clue, i dont use stock ecu

Have you guys used gasket stuff with the block offs or just retain the stock gasket?

I reused the stock gaskets on the things that the stock gaskets werent broken, I used silicone "grey" to bead the others which the gasket wasent reusable.

Thanks for any info you can provide!
and im spent

you have a '94, so the ECU will still throw codes about the missing EGR. there is a method involving using a relay - do a forum search.

Yes, you can use resistors for the female connectors. Just cut the resistor so it fits in the connector without sticking up too far and then use some electrical tape around the connector so the resistor doesn't fall out.

You shouldn't need to do anything with the male end connectors.
