Uh Oh, Would you replace the engine?

My engine is drinking coolant at a rate of 32 oz every 25 miles.

Fine and good but now, I see brown crud, which must be combustion by products. As a kicker, I started pouring in all kinds of fluid, 7-up, windshield washer fluid, urine (just kidding, not yet).

No white smoke, vaccum at 17 in.Hg but it does take longer to start.

Is it time to replace the engine?

Is there any oil or anything like that you see driping from under the car or around the engien block its self?
When I blew my motor about a 1.5yrs ago I had it where kinda like you my coolent was leaking bad and eating it up fast. Then I notced for a while alot of oil driping in the drive way and some around the motor its self. Eventual after a few months of that it was blown. If you havent yet I would say take it by mazda or what ever RX7 shop you like and have them do a compreson test on it.

Yeah it may be some damage there then on the rotar housing area. Again as I put I kinda was in the same area as him with the coolent draning out like that. I duno if its the same thing that I had though. I took it to have it checed on the comprson and i want to say it was 0 or so. I couldn't get it to start when it was fully gone.

Man, the car runs like a charm too at 14psi. I figured since I'm getting water into the combustion chambers, I might as well advanced my ignition (with Datalogit) 2 degrees b/w 3.5K - 6K and under boost b/w 10-14.7 psi across the board. Even with the advanced timing, I'm still under the timings that were shipped with the PFC. So I'm safe.

Damn, the car runs great. I really need to install my Aquamist with the reman.
