Two inline catalytic for emission

Question:
Let say I have 2 maps, one for performance map & the other is a more leaner
map from idle to 3,500 rpm (they sniff the car in my state at this rpm) use for emission test.
If I put 2 inline catalytic converter, do you think I have a chance to pass the
single turbo install with no air pump to the state emission test?

Thank you

I think you need the airpump to light off the cats.

I had trouble passing with a TT car with an airpump and stock cat until I jumper-wired the airpump to run full time, then it passed by a mile with no other changes.

Maybe just an electric airpump with a standard cat/midpipe.

Others may correct me if I'm wrong, but standard cats need an oxygen supply to really work, so I doubt you can do without. Maybe some of the metallic aftermarket cats don't need O2, not sure.

A lot of single T guys install a GM electric airpump that can be located where there's room.

Can I plumb the electric air pump pipe a few inches before the catalytic?
Any idea how big the pipe I need to weld for air pump?

Oh....what about the exhaust pressure from the air pump pipe?
How can i prevent the exhaust fumes backing up to the air pump...do you guys use a one way valve?

the factory runs a one way valve, seems like a good idea.
