Twins

So I am going to an aftermarket twin turbo setup, I am also trying to keep the sleeper style going on the car. my HP aim is 500 I also want to maintain a fast spool up. So I am after recommendation for turbos to run (I was thinking something along the lines of GT2554R but I keep geting the feeling they might be to small)

BNR Stage 3's are capable of near 500 . and some people have made 500 On them .
They will have quick spool But just remember that you will need alot of extra cooling some sort of axillary injection . some engine porting might make it a bit easier to reach your goal .

apart from regular , tunning / fuel mods / flow mods
But it is possible .

If you're just trying to make a power goal and not trying to make some kind of show car, why on earth would you use two turbos?

As far as I know the record is about 480hp on the BNRs. There is a build thread somewhere

It would be nice however I can't bring my self to pay more then the turbos cost to ship them. Not when I can have something built for less cost, and remove massive heat that is oem setup

Also want power i can use

Save yourself a ton of time and effort, and buy a mid-size turbo, run water injection, 20psi and be done.

Twins of that size will spool no faster than a properly matched single in the low 20 lbs of boost. The only reason factory twins spooled so fast is because they are sequential.

Yes, Balljoint made great power on the BNR's. He also went to GREAT lengths to do so, with that specific goal in mind.

I have looked at dyno's and the GT35R single turbo's made more power before 4,000RPM than the stock twins did.

They were crossing 200WHP around 3,600-4,000RPM's on the 35 series turbo's. The stock twins were getting around 200WHP in the mid 4,000 rpm's.
