Do you mean after someone has taken the time to convert it to a single turbo setup? Why would you want to do that? You would be better off buying a TT.

well i guess ill just tell you the whole thinking behind my question and you can tell me how wrong i am. im looking to buy a 3rd gen rx7 but i dont have much cash. and from looking around ebay ive found that mazda made a turbo and a twin turbo. i want a twin but like i said i dont have much $, i thought i might buy a turbo rx7 and add another turbo to it to make it a twin (convert it to a tt)

Mazda didn't make a single turbo 3rd gen RX-7. Any that you see on ebay have been converted from the stock twin turbo setup to single turbo. You seem to be under the misconception that if one turbo is good, two are better. Maximum power and reliability is achieved by a single turbo (or non-sequential twins, but let's take baby steps. )

i thought that with a twin you dont get turbo lag and it also produces more pressure. so i am better geting a 3rd gen rx7 which are all infact twin turbos and converting it to a single turbo? im confused, i just want a real fast car and i like the rx7 body. somebody please tell me what i want.

Then buy a modified FD with a medium or small single turbo. You'll be loads fast, and if you keep the boost down and keep it maintained it will last quite a while.

You can buy single turbo converted FDs for a pretty reasonable price, you just have to make sure it was done well.
