Twin Turbo Cores

Not sure were to post this since I'm not trying to sell them (yet) and the come for a FD.

Basically I have (4) Twin turbo core (one a 99 spec set) that are all blown or al east leak oil (yes I've had that bad of luck with twins). Dose anyone buy these or should I just send them to recycling?

Thanks

This should be posted in the FS section.

They can be rebuilt by BNR into their Stage 3 turbos.

They can be rebuilt if the internal damage is not too bad. If they are run too long after needing rebuild, the rebuild will not last long.

BNR is a great place to start, as he will be frank about what he can / can't rebuild.

I know that BNR does need good cores.... I'll bet he'd be willing to pay a bit for them if the cracking on the turbine inlet is minimal.

Also, many times with used twins, you just have one bad turbo. I've put 2 sets of bad twins together to make 1 good set of used twins before.

OK, that said, is there a way to estimate if a CHRA is good when it's off the car?

Lateral or axial? (What do you consider the limit?)
